Job summary

Conifer Realty is seeking a Regional Manager for the New York area to lead affordable housing operations across a regional portfolio, ensure compliance, and mentor property leaders. This role focuses on performance, resident satisfaction, and community impact.

The position is full-time in New York, salary $95,000-$105,000, with a hybrid schedule, and regional travel. Candidates should bring 5+ years of affordable housing management and 2+ years of supervisory experience, plus LIHTC/HUD knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of affordable housing management experience including LIHTC, Section 8, or HUD compliance.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience with training, performance management, and staffing.
• Knowledge of budgets, NOI, and financial reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Community Managers to drive performance and compliance.
• Oversee regional portfolio operations and capital planning.
• Ensure readiness for LIHTC/HUD inspections and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor KPIs like occupancy, rent collections, and NOI.
