Job summary

Baltic Street Wellness Solutions is seeking a Regional Manager for the Adult Home Initiative in Staten Island, NY. The role oversees training, staff certifications, and program compliance while coordinating across boroughs.

Qualified candidates will have NYS Peer Specialist certification, leadership experience, and proficiency in Word/Excel. Travel across the five boroughs is required, with emphasis on Brooklyn and Staten Island, and adherence to vaccination policies is expected.

Qualifications

• New York State Certified Peer Specialist (Active) or must be certified within 6 months of hiring.
• Experience working with individuals who receive behavioral health services.
• Minimum two years of management and leadership experience.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet navigation.
• Knowledge of government entitlement programs (e.g., benefits, aid).
• Knowledge of AWARDS/Foothold is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate trainings, maintain departmental filings, and ensure staff certifications progress.
• Ensure staff pursue Peer Certification(s) and relevant trainings/webinars as directed.
• Generate written documentation when staff do not meet standards.
• Maintain/update fire drill logs, staff scheduling, and medical documentation.
• Comply with confidentiality guidelines and DHCH correspondence.
• Review and file participants' charts monthly to quarterly, ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain fire drill logs and staffing coverage during absences.
• Distribute/maintain Metro-Cards and petty cash; process checks as needed.
• Attend manager meetings and relay information to staff; promote staff development.

Roles and Responsibilities

Baltic Street Wellness Solutions seeks a Regional Manager for their Adult Home Initiative program. Candidates with mental health lived experience are encouraged to apply.

• Facilitate trainings, maintaining departmental filings standards, and making sure staff are progressing towards all proper certifications
• Assure staff are working towards goals for Peer Certification(s), and any other webinars or trainings Agency/Division Director sees fit
• Generate write-ups when staff aren’t complying within company standards
• Maintain/update fire drill log, staff scheduling and staff medical documentation
• Comply with all guidelines to protect participants confidential documentation, maintain Department of Mental Health and Hygiene correspondence
• Review, audit, and file participants charts on a monthly to quarterly basis, ensuring staff’s efficiency while upholding filing standards
• Maintain fire drill logs, staff scheduling and coverage when staff members are absent
• Distribute/maintain Metro-Cards, postage stamps, policy/procedure development, petty cash any check requests as needed
• Attend manager’s meeting twice a month relaying any relevant information to departmental staff members
• Always continue to demonstrate competence in a culturally skilled manner, always looking for opportunities for staff development.

Qualifications

• New York State Certified Peer Specialists certification (Active) - or must be Certified within 6 months of hiring.
• Experience working with individuals that receive behavioral health services.
• Minimum two years of Management and Leadership Experience.
• Ability to work as an effective team member is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet navigation
• Knowledge of government entitlement programs with a minimum of one year of Human Services Experience.
• Knowledge of AWARDS/Foothold is a plus.

Additional Notes

• Other duties may be assigned by the agency or Division Director. Ability to conduct community outreach with other non-profit agencies or advocacy groups in the community.
• Selected candidates will be required to work throughout the 5 boroughs. Specifically, Brooklyn and Staten Island.

Baltic Street Wellness Solutions will require selected candidates to submit proof of complete vaccination against COVID-19 and having received a booster shot. If a candidate has a qualifying medical condition or religious exemption that contraindicates a COVID-19 vaccination, an exemption form should be requested from Human Resources.
