Homestead Healthcare is seeking a Regional Manager to support Executive Directors across Michigan facilities, covering Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. The role involves growth initiatives, P&L oversight, and on-call coverage for open shifts to ensure sustained facility success.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in health care operations and hands-on leadership of licensed communities, with strong budgeting, teamwork, and travel abilities to maintain a regional presence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of operations experience in health care.
• 2+ years managing licensed communities (HFA/AFC).
• Strong organizational skills and budget awareness.
• Ability to travel regionally up to 75% of the week.
• Proficient computer skills and office software.

Responsibilities

• Develops or expands corporate and facility programs.
• Monitors budget compliance, clinical services and regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, hire, develop, and retain high performance teams through training and accountability.
• Fill in for vacant shifts and be available on-call.

Job description

Homestead manages senior living facilities all across Michigan. We have been in business for over 30 years and have a great reputation throughout the industry. We are looking for a Regional Manager to give support to the Executive Directors at the facilities. The area covered will include Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties. You will play a critical role spearheading growth and process improvement initiatives, manage profit and loss, and travel regionally to maintain a presence in the facilities you support to ensure sustained success. This is an on-call position, you will be required to cover open shifts. Experience managing a senior living facility is a requirement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops or expands corporate and facility programs
• Monitors facility operations such as budget compliance, clinical services and regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, hire, develop, and retain high performance teams through training, coaching, and accountability
• Capable of filling in for vacant shifts and being available on-call.
• Identify opportunities pro-actively within the region and implement action plans to address any potential issues
• Strong problem-solving skills taking ownership and acting with a sense of urgency to reach resolutions
• Resolves all facility needs and requests. Ensures facilities are in working order
• Acts as team leader to the operational team
• Ensures that facilities comply with corporate directives and implement corporate programs
• Directs activities of regional office support staff
• Develops policies and procedures for facilities
• Represents corporation and facilities at industry meetings and promotes programs through community involvement
