Job summary

ManTech in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Regional Manager to lead IT services and hardware deployment initiatives across the region. You will coordinate with senior leadership, manage regional resources, and ensure SLAs and budget objectives are met.

The role requires strong customer interfacing skills, a 8570 Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE), and willingness to travel up to 25% to support regional objectives. TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience delivering IT services (primarily hardware).
• Ability to interface with the customer daily and explain complex topics clearly.
• Must have an 8570 Level II certification, such as Security+ CE.
• Willing to travel up to 25% to support regional objectives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Senior Leadership to support operational processes and manage resources to meet SLAs and budget objectives.
• Serve as Manager/Leader for both technical and non-technical personnel and lower-level managers.
• Participate in interview processes, contribute to hiring decisions, and establish training and operational processes.
• Submit regular reports on daily operations and project management and oversee training to maintain HR readiness.
• Submit and approve travel requests to support regional needs and coordinate with government officials.
• Serve as POC to address regional customer concerns, publish work schedules, and pool resources with other Regional Managers.
• Track productivity, onboard new employees, and enforce compliance standards for customer and ManTech.
• Set goals and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback to subcontractors as needed.

MANTECH seeks an experienced and passionate, career and customer-oriented Regional Manager to join our team in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• This role will require close coordination with Senior Leadership, both customer and MANTECH, to support the development and maintenance of operational processes and the ability to manage resources to meet Service Level Agreements and maintain budget objectives.


• The individual will serve as a Manager/Leader for both technical and non-technical personnel, and lower-level managers.


• Participates in interview, contributing to hiring decisions, enforcing work roles, and establishing both training and operational processes to ensure adequate human resources to meet the challenges of the region.


• Submits regular reports on daily operations, refresh efforts, and project management and delivers or oversees training to maintain adequate human resources to meet regional challenges.


• Submits and approves travel requests, to support regional needs and coordinates with government officials to present or clarify support requirements.


• Serves as the POC to address regional customer concerns, publishes work schedules and on-call rosters and collaborates with other Regional Managers to pool resources as needed.


• Tracks productivity to determine worker or process weaknesses, onboards new employees and enforces compliance standards for both the customer and ManTech.


• Sets goals and evaluate employee performance and provides direct and indirect feedback to subcontractors temporarily assigned to the region, as required.


• Provides close communication and collaboration with customers, senior leaders, and other ManTech management personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience delivering IT services (primarily hardware)


• Experience and the ability to interface with the customer daily and explain complex technical topics to both internal and external customers with ease.


• Must have an 8570 Level II certification, such as Security+ CE


• Able to support travel as needed to support operational objectives. Up to 25% travel within the region

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7 years of hands‑on hardware deployment experience supporting network, end‑user, conference room and other IT services

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Poly

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time


• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer


• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
