Job summary

Flagship Communities is seeking a hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role involves painting, home remodeling, minor plumbing and electrical work, and lawn care across manufactured home communities. Candidates should be able to work autonomously while adhering to safety guidelines and delivering high-quality service to residents.

Travel within the region is required. The ideal candidate will have 4–7 years of housing maintenance experience and own the necessary tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CMRP certification desired.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and repair of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems for functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs.
• Perform manual repairs (locks, windows).
• Undertake pest control activities and general upkeep.
• Keep grounds and landscaping in good condition.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
• Mow, weed eat, and hedge trim; maintain and repair equipment.
