Job summary

Walmart Greencastle, IN seeks an Area Manager - Maintenance to lead a diverse team, oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The role requires coordinating staffing, budgeting, and process improvements to meet service and cost targets.

You'll drive continuous improvements, mentor leaders, and align activities with Walmart's standards and policies while delivering results in a fast-paced retail logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Technical School Certification in an Industrial related field and 1 year related maintenance department supervisory experience OR Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Industrial, or related field OR 1 year supervisory experience in a maintenance related environment OR 2 year Walmart Logistics maintenance experience including six months experience leading a work or project team OR 2 years supervisory experience in an industrial related environment with 1 year in maintenance.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, suppliers and associates; implement business plans by managing staffing and scheduling.
• Monitor productivity and ensure quality and safety standards; train and develop associates.
• Manage maintenance department operations: equipment, compliance with OSHA and related regulations; monitor expenses and budgets.
