Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across properties in Oakland, Berkeley, and Alameda, CA. The role requires regular travel to support site teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage budgets.

The position offers a salary range of $78,000–$90,000 annually, with typical hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and on-call availability for urgent needs. Candidates should have strong leadership, NSPIRE/TCAC experience, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
• 5-8 years of supervisory / managerial experience.
• Strong background in preparing for NSPIRE and TCAC inspections.
• A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards.
• Travel 4 days a week to properties in Oakland, Emeryville and San Pablo.
• Experience with web-based applications and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations across properties.
• Maintain curb appeal and Winn Standards for interiors and exteriors.
• Review building systems for proper operations.
• Ensure site logs are accurate and unit turnovers meet Winn Standards.
• Handle customer service and work orders promptly.
• Review WOPR reports and conduct annual maintenance audits.
• Oversee contractors and recommendations.
• Coordinate seasonal maintenance and snow removal.
• Participate in hire/fire decisions with management.
