Job summary

Meta Platforms, Inc. is hiring two Regional Managers to lead teams within the data center Community Engagement organization, with operations spanning site selection, operations, policy, communications, and public affairs to advance local community strategies.

You will manage a team of Community Engagement Managers, build external relationships with stakeholders and elected officials, and travel up to 75% to align cross-functional plans with regional needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in public affairs or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, or related field.
• Experience with nonprofit grants and CSR planning.
• Ability to communicate and work with highly confidential information.
• Strong organizational and program management skills with multi-stakeholder coordination.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and external stakeholders.
• Experience with local and state policy and legislative processes.

Responsibilities

• Support community engagement strategy and lead initiatives in data center communities.
• Advocate for community interests across cross-functional partners in infrastructure planning.
• Lead a team of community engagement managers with coaching and accountability.
• Develop strategies to raise the company profile in assigned data center communities.
• Build external relationships with stakeholders and elected officials.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to align goals with local strategies.
• Monitor local community needs and report risks to leadership.
• Lead integrated planning across External Affairs for communications and events.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 75%).
