Regional Key Customer Marketing (Central) Associate Director

Legend Biotech is seeking a Regional Key Customer Marketing (Central) Associate Director as part of the Commercial team, based in (but not limited to) AZ, IL, or TX.

Role Overview

The Regional Key Customer Marketer (KCM) AD for Multiple Myeloma/CAR-T will lead the development, planning, and execution of thought leader engagement strategies for the West Region, ensuring alignment with brand strategy. This is a field-based marketing role (non-sales), working closely with national and regional thought leaders and key customers. Focus areas include thought leader engagement, executive encounter management, and liaising with marketing, all within regulatory and legal guidelines.

The KCM collaborates closely with other field professionals and home office colleagues in Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales, and Market Access. Critical success behaviors include collaboration, communication, planning, relationship building, and tactical execution with timely feedback.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, profile, cultivate, and maintain relationships with thought leaders and key customers at academic and large community institutions.
  • Plan and execute thought leader and key customer engagements at conferences and other venues.
  • Translate engagements into insights to inform strategies and tactics.
  • Lead specific KCM initiatives supporting the brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with the field commercial team and external partners like Johnson & Johnson on engagement strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for peer-to-peer initiatives and speaker programs.
  • Partner with Insights & Analytics to understand regional treatment patterns.
  • Provide insight reports to leadership as needed.
  • Assist with execution of commercial contracts when required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degrees (MD, PharmD, PhD) preferred.
  • 10+ years in pharma/biologics sales, marketing, or medical engagement with thought leaders.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Multiple Myeloma, Cell Therapy, or Oncology.
  • Prior KCM experience is preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 75-85%.
  • Compliance with regulatory and legal standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects autonomously.
