The Opportunity

The Regional Key Account Manager (RKAM) will sell APOC products to large, regional Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs). They will develop and manage strategic customer relationships, execute account strategies, and drive profitable revenue growth within assigned enterprise accounts. The role supports the Western Region, ideally based in KC, St. Louis, Oklahoma, or Nebraska.

What You’ll Work On
  • Achieve sales goals and maintain the sales budget.
  • Build senior-level relationships within assigned accounts.
  • Understand customer decision-makers to drive sales and protect existing business.
  • Identify strategic solutions for the commercial team.
  • Provide accurate forecasting to leadership.
  • Collaborate across US Commercial functions to meet goals.
  • Manage activities of sales, marketing, finance teams.
  • Identify sales opportunities and represent the company effectively.
  • Work with leadership to assign roles and responsibilities.
  • Act as an internal advocate for customers.
  • Handle contract negotiations, proposals, and customer follow-up.
  • Develop strategic sales plans and forecasts.
  • Monitor market and competitor trends.
  • Work with Marketing to identify new opportunities.
  • Provide sales reports and forecasts.
  • Support the commercial team with ideas and techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and maintain professional conduct.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field.
  • 7+ years relevant experience, including 1-3 years selling to executive decision-makers.
  • Experience in laboratory, Point of Care, Medical Device, or diagnostics industry.
  • Extensive contracting experience.
  • Leadership skills, problem-solving, conflict resolution, complex selling, planning, and execution experience.
  • Ability to build strategic, long-term relationships and translate organizational plans into solutions.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and public speaking skills.
  • Financial and business acumen, team leadership, and product knowledge.
  • Robust networking and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to travel at least 60%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Enterprise Account and IDN sales experience.
