Job summary

Gate Gourmet, a gategroup company, is the world’s largest independent provider of catering and provisioning services for the airline industry. The Regional Head IT Business Engagement leads regional IT strategy and serves as the liaison between IT and the business to drive solutions and service delivery.

In this senior role, you will manage regional IT teams, align roadmaps with global IT, oversee budget and vendor relationships, and collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in IT Management, Business Administration, or Digital Transformation
• At least 10 years of experience in IT and business-facing technology roles.
• At least 10 years of leadership experience, including managing regional or multi-country IT teams.
• Proven experience defining and executing regional IT strategies and roadmaps aligned with global IT direction.
• Strong background in regional IT service delivery and operations, including infrastructure, applications, and support.
• Experience managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and service performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage regional IT team to deploy IT roadmaps and drive rollouts.
• Ensure delivery of regional IT services, including infrastructure and applications support.
• Act as escalation point between IT and business; manage third-party vendors.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities, prioritize projects, and oversee budget.
• Consolidate business roadmaps and present for investment approval.
• Analyze business requirements to recommend solutions aligned with standards.
• Identify and evaluate new IT opportunities for internal and external needs.
• Negotiate service levels with IT CoE and Operations; monitor performance.
• Balance costs with business demands for new requirements.
