Job summary

Liebherr-America, Inc. is seeking an Information Security Specialist (Regional) to oversee security across the Americas. The role designs security controls, incident response, and risk mitigation for IT systems and data in a regional capacity.

Responsibilities include policies, testing, audits, and collaboration with IT, DevOps, and risk teams. Travel domestically and internationally is required, with the position based in Saline, MI or Newport News, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology or related discipline with 4 years IT security experience; or equivalent education/training.
• Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, CISM, GIAC) can be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Knowledge of IAM (AD, Okta, SSO, MFA).
• Familiar with NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001.
• Experience in security tooling, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements security solutions to protect IT infrastructure
• Develops and enforces security policies, standards, and risk mitigation strategies
• Conducts penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and security audits
• Investigates and responds to security incidents, performing forensic analysis
• Ensures compliance with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, NIS2, ISO 27001)
• Evaluates and integrates new security tools and technologies
• Automates security processes and threat mitigation where possible
• Works with IT, DevOps, and risk management teams
• Engages with regulatory bodies and compliance auditors
• Coordinates with external cybersecurity partner
