Job summary

Summit Therapeutics is seeking a Regional Medical Science Director (MSL) to scientifically support cancer therapeutics across specified geographies. The role emphasizes Immuno-Oncology expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and education of healthcare professionals and researchers.

The MSL will develop territory plans, build relationships with external experts, and share insights from scientific meetings, while maintaining ongoing self-education on market trends and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in health sciences required.
• 5+ years solid tumor cancer experience preferred.
• 2+ years as Medical Science Liaison required.
• Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute and maintain high impact territory plans with HCP and Investigator engagement.
• Support clinical development and research initiatives across development at the request of R&D.
• Identify, gain access to and develop professional relationships with external experts in Immuno-Oncology.
• Provide education on disease state, therapeutic landscape and Summit products to healthcare providers and researchers.
• Monitor scientific meetings and provide insights to Summit.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and therapeutic areas related to responsibilities.
