Job summary

Summit Therapeutics Inc. is seeking a Regional Medical Science Director (MSL) to support immuno-oncology programs across the US.

This field-based role requires engaging healthcare professionals, building expert networks, and delivering scientific education. You will travel up to 75% and work remotely within the US, collaborating with R&D and commercial teams to advance clinical development and research initiatives in GI, bladder, renal tumors.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in the health sciences from an accredited university required (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent).
• 5+ years solid tumor cancer experience in oncology preferred.
• 2+ years as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) required.
• Pharma industry experience in relevant discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute and maintain high impact territory plans with HCP and Investigator engagement.
• Support clinical development and research initiatives across development as requested.
• Identify, gain access to and develop relationships with external IO experts.
• Provide education on disease state, therapeutic landscape and Summit products.
• Participate in scientific meetings and provide insights from the geography.
• Maintain self-education on market issues, product knowledge and therapy areas.
