MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital seeks an Acute Care Manager of Regional Imaging Services to lead and coordinate imaging across multiple sites. The role focuses on operational efficiency, financial performance, quality, and patient experience while aligning with regional and local leadership and imaging managers.

This role requires strong leadership, budget management, regulatory compliance, and a passion for service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Six years of progressive leadership experience, including supervision.
• Five years of progressive radiology leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Acute care Manager of Regional Imaging Services oversees multiple Imaging locations within a region, ensuring operational efficiency, financial performance, and team leadership while aligning with regional and local MultiCare CBU leadership and other site-specific Imaging Managers responsible for Ambulatory services.

Regional managers supervise the day-to-day operations of multiple Imaging service locations, focusing on acute care operations and 24/7/365 Imaging locations, ensuring each location meets performance targets, maintains quality standards, and delivers excellent customer service. They monitor compliance and regulatory readiness and optimize operational efficiency across the region.

This position is responsible for conducting performance evaluations and addressing areas for improvement to ensure teams are motivated and aligned with organizational goals.

Regional managers are also responsible for Imaging budgets, within their areas of responsibility, revenue, and expenses, ensuring financial targets are met. Regional managers handle escalated customer complaints, resolve conflicts, and build relationships. They ensure regulatory preparedness, quality assurance programs and standard work process are defined and adhere to legal requirements, safety regulations, and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership and oversight for multiple Imaging service locations, including Hospitals and Off Campus Emergency Departments within an assigned region, ensuring achievement of productivity, quality, patient experience, access, and service excellence goals.
• Direct and optimize regional Imaging operations through the development, implementation, and monitoring of performance standards, operational workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and operational effectiveness.
• Lead, develop, and mentor Imaging supervisors, leaders and teams across the region, including performance management, workforce planning, succession planning, employee engagement, and accountability for organizational objectives.
• Manage regional financial performance of the area of their responsibility within a region including Acute care and Hospital Imaging productivity standards, equipment replacement strategies and budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring responsible stewardship of organizational resources.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, patient safety, and adherence to federal, state, and organizational standards across all Imaging locations within the region.
• Partner with regional and local leadership, physicians, and key stakeholders to align Imaging services with organizational strategies, growth initiatives, community business unit objectives, and patient care priorities.
• Utilize operational, quality, and patient experience data to evaluate regional performance, establish action plans, and drive accountability for achieving strategic and operational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of formal radiologic technology training preferred
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology preferred
• Six (6) years experience of progressive experience in leadership capacity, including supervisory and management positions
• Five (5) years progressive experience in radiologic services
• Multi-hospital system experience preferred

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $119,828.80 - $172,432.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
