Walmart is hiring a Licensed Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager to lead HVAC/R and building maintenance across a local regional market. You will coach a team of technicians, partner with Store Managers, and drive reliability and compliance in multiple locations.

The role requires an active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license, EPA certification, and 3–5 years of facilities management experience. Travel is extensive, with benefits starting Day 1 and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in good standing in your state of residence.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• 3–5 years of experience in facilities management or related field.
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge.
• Leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-service abilities.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across locations.
• Partner with store managers to identify facility needs.
• Use reporting and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Maintain required contractor licensing and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Secure required permits and coordinate inspections per codes.
• Conduct site inspections to support safety and quality standards.
