Job summary

The Bright Experience, part of Bright Event Rentals LLC, is seeking an HR Business Partner to align people strategies with business goals for the Southern California region. You will partner with senior leaders to shape culture, develop talent, and implement core HR programs across distributed locations.

Responsibilities include strategic HR partnership, coaching executives, leading regional talent initiatives, and rolling out compensation, performance, and engagement processes.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a generalist or HRBP role supporting multiple locations.
• Direct experience supporting hourly, non-exempt, and field or warehouse workforces in a fast-paced operational setting.
• At least 3 years of experience with California employment law (wage/hour, breaks, leave laws).
• Experience coaching managers through performance management, corrective action, and terminations.
• Ability to work in Southern California locations at least 4 days a week with travel every 1–2 weeks to another location.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to regional and local leaders on talent, culture, and organizational design.
• Recommend and implement HR strategies to support growth and operations.
• Act as culture ambassador across distributed teams.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and leadership development sessions.
• Lead regional rollout of HR initiatives (performance, compensation, engagement).
• Manage open enrollment and merit cycles with leadership alignment.
• Drive talent reviews, succession planning, and internal mobility.
