Job summary

Blue Summit Hospice is seeking a Quality Assurance Nurse Hospice Regional Manager to oversee quality across multiple facilities in a defined region. You will ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, internal policies, and accreditation standards while driving patient-centered care and safety.

You will lead quality improvement initiatives, conduct audits, analyze data and outcomes, and work with interdisciplinary teams to close gaps, train staff, and support regulatory readiness

Qualifications

• Current RN license in GA.
• Minimum 5 years clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in hospice/palliative care.
• Experience in quality assurance, risk management, or clinical compliance.
• Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, Medicare COP, and accreditation standards.
• Proven leadership with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor regional quality assurance programs across sites.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to review care plans and gaps.
• Lead training to promote best practices in hospice quality.
• Analyze quality data and prepare reports for senior leadership.
• Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections and accreditation processes.
• Support staff in understanding and adhering to quality metrics and performance improvement goals.
• Facilitate root cause analyses and corrective action plans.
