Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Houston, TX. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a long-term driving career. Hazmat endorsement and manual transmission capability are required, with routes covering TX/LA/MS/AR/OK and 1–2 nights out.

Salary ranges from $90K–$100K yearly with potential bonuses and paid training. Benefits begin after 30 days, including medical, dental, and vision; PTO starts Day 1; uniforms and boot allowance provided; 401(k) with company match;

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years in the past 5 years, OR 5 years in the past 10 years.
• Minimum age 21.
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background check and motor vehicle verification, and a DOT physical.
• Must have a Hazmat endorsement for the position.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting as required by the customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
