Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Part Time Class A CDL Truck Driver in Houston, TX. This role offers weekly pay, paid training, uniforms and boot allowance, and employee discounts. Schedule is Thursday through Sunday with potential layovers, starting at 8:00 PM.

Drivers will handle 48'–53' dry van loads, require hazmat endorsement and 9 months CDL A experience (hazmat experience 6 months) with route delivery responsibilities across TX and neighboring states. Safety and DOT compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement.
• 9 months CDL A experience within the last 3 years.
• 6 months hazmat experience.
• Route delivery experience required.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Load/unload freight as required and maintain accurate records and logs.
• Deliver to TX, LA, MS, AR and OK with attention to safety and timeliness.
• Support customers with professional service and follow company policies.
