Job summary

The Historic Menger Hotel in San Antonio seeks a Sales Manager to lead the sales team, drive revenue growth, and expand market presence across designated U.S. regions.

You will develop and execute regional and group sales strategies, mentor the team, manage outside sales activities, and align efforts with Marketing and Product to achieve targets and build long-term client relationships. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in sales (2+ years in management) with a proven track record are required;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of sales strategies, planning, and incentive programs.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional and group sales strategies to achieve targets.
• Lead, mentor, and train the sales team to improve skills and performance.
• Manage outside sales activities, including client visits and relationship building.
• Create and monitor sales plans and incentive programs to drive motivation and results.
