Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Regional Analyst to support a federal agency’s Regional Representative in reviewing grantee programs and financial data to ensure alignment with objectives and federal requirements.

The role involves site visits, technical assistance to grantees, and preparing formal reports. The candidate will collaborate with state representatives and regional offices to enhance program performance and ensure compliant operations across regions.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS Degree in a related discipline and at least 5-8 years of related experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with federal grants preferred.
• Experience working with immigrant or refugee communities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support site visits with states, NGOs, mutual assistance associations, and other entities.
• Obtain clearance for site reports from the respective Regional Representative before release.
• Analyze state plans, grantees' program performance, financial reports and data relative to program objectives and summarize observations.
• Provide technical assistance to grantees as a follow-up to monitoring reports.
• Review grantee independent auditor reports and recommend follow-up review as needed.
• Develop work plans to implement individual monitoring assignments and support grants management and state program review teams.
• Schedule and conduct selected on-site monitoring visits; analyze program performance and identify gaps in programs, model programs and/or programs that require corrective actions in the administration of federal programs.
• Prepare written reports of findings, i.e., strengths, best practices, weaknesses and recommendations for improvements.
