Job summary

Primient is seeking a Regional Operations Manager for grain operations to lead safety, quality, and efficiency across regional facilities. This role directs environmental health, maintenance, projects, and staff, while partnering with the Network Operations Manager on strategic initiatives.

The candidate will oversee elevators, maintenance teams, and contractors, and travel to multiple sites. Strong leadership, PLC/automation knowledge, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical college with preferred 5 years’ experience in grain operations/maintenance.
• High school diploma/GED with preferred 10 years’ experience in grain operations or related field.
• Working knowledge of automation technology preferred - PLC.
• Ability to multi-task and solve problems while maintaining safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct environmental, health, safety, grain operations, maintenance, projects and product quality control in the region.
• Manage facilities and operations staff at multiple sites with occasional temporary workers.
• Coordinate capital projects and external contractors for maintenance and improvements.
• Develop and implement safety training, processes, and SOPs; ensure OSHA and company policies are followed.
• Travel to sites within region to supervise operations and ensure performance.
