Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business/economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3+ years of combined production agriculture and elevator management experience.
• 2–3 years of supervisory experience.
• 5–7 years of grain operations management/marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage & direct all activities associated with safe and efficient elevator operations.
• Originate and merchandise grain to meet budget volume and profitability targets.
• Develop and maintain strong public relations with the local farmer client base.
• Manage all contracts, grain accounting, and payments for the elevator.
• Monitor daily long/short positions to control grain handling, storage, and transportation.
• Procure and manage all logistics related to grain storage and transportation.
• Establish and implement short‑term goals aligned with long‑term growth plans, including facilities, equipment, and personnel.
• Supervise and develop full‑time and seasonal employees, ensuring adherence to safety and company procedures.
• Oversee site maintenance needs and projects to ensure equipment functions properly and safely.
