Job summary

Guardian Glass, a Koch company, is seeking a Regional Fabrication Manager to optimize operations across its North American fabrication lines, including tempering and cutting, in coordination with the OpEx team.

You will partner with Guardian plants across the Americas to drive reliability, quality, and process improvements, serving as the SME for tempering and cutting and traveling up to 50% to support sites.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Tempering, and Reliability experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating different designs of tempering lines, offline cutting tables, and edge delete.
• Willing and able to travel up to 50% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations to deliver on key bets for fabrication lines, identifying risks and gaps, troubleshooting downtime, and building countermeasures.
• Provide rapid support for plants with operational or quality issues by leading RCAs, escalations, and follow-up.
• Act as the tempering and cutting SME: coach, train, and mentor plant teams to build capability.
• Partner cross-functionally to leverage knowledge resources accordingly.
• Drive knowledge sharing through documentation, audits, scalable training, and regular communication.
• Support capital projects, asset care strategies, and reliability efforts to improve safety, compliance, stability and efficiency of fabrication lines.
• Travel up to 50% (North America)
