Job summary

ICOP, Inc. is seeking an Area Manager for Geotechnical Construction to support preconstruction and business development across the Northeast region (Philadelphia area and nearby states).

The role combines engineering insight with sales and operations to create solutions, pursue opportunities, and win profitable projects. The ideal candidate has a solid engineering foundation in geotechnical construction, knowledge of deep foundations and related systems, and a proven ability to cultivate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction, geotechnical background preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret geotechnical reports and construction documents.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, developers, general contractors, and consulting engineers.
• Identify and qualify new project opportunities within the Northeast market.
• Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and networking functions.
• Serve as a technical resource during preconstruction and pursuit phases.
• Review geotechnical reports, plans, and specifications to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with estimating and operations to develop competitive, constructible solutions.
• Support bid strategy, scope definition, value engineering, and proposals.
