Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Pennsylvania Regional Geotechnical Engineering Market Sector Leader to lead geotechnical design for transportation projects across Dewberry’s PA offices in Pittsburgh, Mechanicsburg, or Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will have 15–25 years of geotechnical experience on PennDOT, PA Turnpike Commission, and/or design-build projects, and hold a PA PE license.

Qualifications

• 15–25 years of geotechnical engineering experience, preferably on PennDOT/PA Turnpike projects.
• PA Professional Engineer license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in budgets, proposals, and QA/QC procedures.
• Ability to lead a multi-discipline team.

Responsibilities

• Direct staff in geotechnical tasks for transportation projects.
• Lead field reconnaissance and boring contract administration.
• Prepare and review Geotechnical and Foundation Report documents.
• Develop statements of interest, scopes, and man-hour estimates.
• Coordinate with bridge designers and external clients.
