Job summary

Students Across North America seeks a General Manager to provide leadership to the Operations/Terminal Managers of school transportation facilities within the Region. The position ensures the highest quality of internal and external customer service, while meeting financial objectives and supporting management development and regulatory compliance.

The GM collaborates with Directors of Safety, HR, Maintenance, ROAMS and Finance, with service area TBD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics or equivalent.
• At least four years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day facility operations.
• Provide guidance, leadership, management and evaluation of direct reports.
• Oversee payroll, AR/AP, and month-end requirements for all operations in your division.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers through routine visits.
• Attend school board meetings as required regarding contracts.
• Ensure compliance with school district contracts and leases.
• Lead labor planning and cost control to meet financial plans.
• Coordinate with VP-Ops and Finance on annual financial plans.
• Develop charter and school business for assets during non-school days.
