Job description

Eat Just is on a mission to build a healthier, safer, and more sustainable food system—starting with what’s on your plate. From pioneering plant-based eggs to making real meat without slaughter, we’re reimagining the future of food in ways that are better for people and the planet.

We’re a lean, passionate team of scientists, chefs, engineers, and operators who believe that doing hard things well can make a meaningful difference. We’ve brought groundbreaking innovations to market, like Just Egg and GOOD Meat, and we’re just getting started.

If you’re excited by big challenges, real impact, and the chance to shape what the future tastes like—we’d love to meet you.

We’re growing our Foodservice team and looking for experienced, passionate Regional Sales Managers to help bring our full line of innovative, plant-based products—Just Egg (Scramble, Breakfast Burrito, Folded), Protein products, and future launches—to foodservice operators across the country.

This role is focused on accelerating our growth in the Foodservice channel by developing operator relationships, managing broker and distributor partners, and executing a sales strategy that supports category leadership in plant-based protein. You will be the local expert for your region and play a critical role in representing Eat Just with excellence and impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Grow sales of Eat Just’s foodservice product portfolio—Just Egg product line and future innovations—across your territory.
  • Drive distribution expansion through enthusiastic collaboration with brokers, distributors, and key operators across foodservice channels, including, but not limited to K–12, C&U, hospitality, healthcare, QSR, and regional/national chains.
  • Own operator relationships and support launches through menu ideation, sampling, promotional events, and education.
  • Lead the development and execution of regional sales strategies aligned with national priorities, including new product commercialization plans.
  • Provide ongoing support to distributor reps and broker sales teams via trainings, ride-alongs, and product updates.
  • Work closely with sales operations to manage accurate regional forecasts; track and report performance against sales goals.
  • Analyze market conditions and competitive dynamics to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Culinary, and R&D to represent regional insights and ensure alignment on go-to-market execution.
  • Represent the company at national and regional trade shows and industry events.

What You’ll Bring

  • Determination, grit, and enthusiasm for building a more sustainable, just food system.
  • 5+ years of foodservice sales experience preferred, ideally with a high-growth brand.
  • Deep regional knowledge, including strong relationships with local operators, brokers, and distributors.
  • Track record of successful product launches and sustained volume growth.
  • Experience managing multiple SKUs across categories and customer types.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across levels.

The Perks

  • Competitive salary + equity
  • Up to 100% fully covered medical, dental, and vision insurance (80% for dependents)
  • Life, disability, and wellness benefits
  • Flexible PTO
  • Join a purpose-driven company revolutionizing breakfast—and food—through innovation

Additional Information

  • This is a remote position that must be based out of a major metropolitan area, ideally on the West Coast.
  • Travel required: approximately 30–50% (depending on region), including local travel to customers, distributors, brokers, and periodic team meetings at our HQ in Alameda, CA.
  • All new hires must verify eligibility to work in the U.S. and complete an I-9 form.
  • Eat Just participates in E-Verify.
