Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is seeking an experienced educational leader to join as a Floating School Admin Independent Contractor. You’ll cover campuses during leaves or staffing gaps and partner with heads of school to keep daily operations running smoothly across the region.

In this hands-on role you’ll mentor staff, communicate with families, support admissions and enrollment, and ensure an exceptional experience for children, families, and teachers wherever you’re needed.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in early childhood education or school setting.
• Experience as School Director, Assistant Director, Principal, or Program Director.
• Ability to lead with minimal direction.
• Strong organizational and operational management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience supporting admissions, enrollment, or customer service.
• Experience with technology and CRM systems.
• Collaborative leadership style with a solutions-focused mindset.
• Passion for supporting children, educators and families.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily campus operations with Heads of School across the region.
• Guide families through tours and admissions.
• Manage inquiries and follow up in CRM.
• Coach staff to foster collaborative culture.
• Address parent concerns professionally.
• Coordinate community events and outreach.
• Handle vendor scheduling, supplies, billing support, and campus organization.
