Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum, seeks a Full-time Float Pharmacist to cover multiple Genoa locations in the Dayton and Cincinnati area. The role handles prescription processing, medication information, and immunizations, with a strong focus on patient service.

Hours are typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with no weekends. Requires Ohio pharmacist license, PharmD or bachelor in Pharmacy, and immunizer credential; valid driver’s license and transportation are needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in state of Ohio.
• Certified immunizer.
• Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
