Job summary

Healing Partners is seeking a Regional Float Nurse Practitioner to cover a defined region, floating among Skilled Nursing Facilities. You will plan, direct and evaluate resident care, treat acute and chronic conditions, write prescriptions, perform bedside procedures, and collaborate with the medical director to optimize outcomes.

The role requires NP program completion, active APRN and RN licenses, and a Masters in Nursing with NP focus.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved nurse practitioner program.
• Current APRN license with the state board of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state of application.
• Master’s degree in Nursing with NP specialization.

Responsibilities

• Float in a designated region, plan and evaluate health care in long-term care.
• Examine and treat chronic and acute illnesses, injuries, and provide prescriptions.
• Perform bedside procedures within scope and coordinate with medical director.
• Debridement of wounds and management of topical wound care.
• Coordinate labs, imaging, referrals, and DME to support wound healing.
• Educate patients and PCPs on wound management and care updates.
