Kettering Health Network in Dayton is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support physician offices and provide essential patient care. Under physician and practice manager supervision, you will assist with examinations, deliver patient care duties, and provide administrative support across the practice.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, instructing patients, stocking rooms, maintaining medical records, and following confidentiality and ethics.

Competenze

• Six months experience as Medical Assistant or graduate from an accredited MA / Medical Office Management program.
• Within 15 months from hire, obtain CCMA, CMA (AAMA), NCMA, RMA (AMT) or RMA (ARMA) plus completion of MA program.
• Ability to float between a variety of practices in the Dayton area.

Mansioni

• Assist physician in examinations and procedures.
• Take patient instructions from physicians and convey to patients.
• Record vital signs: blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration.
• Stock rooms, clean instruments, and prepare sterilization as required.
• Support office staff and maintain medical records per procedures.
• Adhere to medical ethics and perform other duties as assigned.
