Job summary

RUAN TRANSPORTATION MGMT SYSTS in Indianapolis, IN seeks Regional Flex CDL Driver to support multiple customers nationwide. This role involves traveling to various operations, ensuring coverage and open routes, with weekly pay and a target of around $105,000 per year.

You will be paid weekly, must have 9 months of tractor-trailer experience, hazmat endorsement, and adhere to DOT requirements. Home time up to 1 week after long trips; schedule varies by operation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 22 years old.
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years.
• No more than three moving violations in the past three years.
• No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years.
• Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
• Must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various customers and operations around the United States.
• Support locations that need extra coverage.
• Perform road tests and training of new hires.
• Stay out up to 5 weeks at a time with 1 week home; schedule varies by operation.
• Operate different types of equipment depending on the customer: Day cab, Sleeper cab, dry van, and reefer trailers.

About the Job

Ruan is hiring drivers Class A Regional CDL Flex drivers for our fleet. Our flex drivers never have to worry about not having enough work available, because we'll send you to where extra help is needed! These drivers will travel to various customers & operations around the United States and support the locations that are in need of extra coverage. Pay

Get paid weekly!

• $40 per hour straight time, guaranteed 50 hours per week!
• $25.00 per diem when traveling

Schedule

Driver will cover last minute call offs, scheduled PTO, and open routes until new driver is hired. Will perform road test and training of new hires. Driver will work on the dock if the route the driver is covering requires dock work. Driver could be out for up to 5 weeks at a time and home for 1 week. Can stay out longer if wanted. Schedule will vary depending on operation you are supporting.

Equipment

• Operate different types of equipment based on the customer you are supporting. Day cab and Sleeper cab. Dry van and reefer trailers. Straight truck.
• Mixture of no-touch freight, driver assist, unloading, and tarping.
• Hazmat endorsement required. Driver must be willing to obtain before hire.
• Forklift experience a plus, must be willing to be trained.
• Real ID or US Passport are required for traveling.
