Job summary
G.E.X Transport in Tyler, TX is seeking CDL Class A flatbed drivers for weekend-home regional runs with steady pay and reliable freight. Trainees require 1 year OTR or Regional experience; experienced drivers need 6 months flatbed and 1 year OTR/Regional experience.
Tarping, strapping, and delivering freight on time are core duties. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for qualified candidates; regional home weekends and consistent weekly pay in the advertised range are provided.
Qualifications
- One year of OTR or Regional experience for trainees.
- Minimum 6 months flatbed experience and 1 year OTR/Regional for experienced.
- Minimum age 22.
- Clear motor vehicle record and background checks.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Tarping and strapping down loads.
- Complete pre trip and post trip inspections.
- Deliver freight on time.
