Job summary

G.E.X Transport is seeking Class A flatbed truck drivers with weekend home time and consistent miles. The employer emphasizes equal opportunity and offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for experienced flatbed drivers.

Trainees require 1 year of OTR or regional experience; experienced drivers need 6 months flatbed plus 1 year OTR/regional experience. Home time for regional routes is weekends; drivers are expected to tarp and strap loads, pass pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and deliver freight on

Qualifications

• Minimum age 22.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (urine test).
• Moving violation: no more than 3 in the last 3 years.
• Accident: no more than one at fault accident.
• Recent at-fault rollover in the past year.
• Felonies and misdemeanors: will review.
• DUI/DWI: experienced: none in past 5 years; trainee: none in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Tarpping and strapping down loads.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Deliver freight on time.
