Job summary

System Transport is seeking an experienced CDL-A flatbed truck driver for regional routes with home weekly time. You will transport a variety of load types including building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals across the western region.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• A safe driving record on the road is required
• No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
• 4+ months of driving experience required
• Preferred: 1 year truck driving experience, but not necessary
• Background Check required
• Clean Drug Test required
• Clean Clearinghouse result required
• For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads. (this is required)

Responsibilities

• Transport important goods and materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals.
• Operate as a CDL-A flatbed driver on regional routes; home weekly.

• Work on flatbed regional opportunities; potential for transition to other routes as needed.
