Job summary

System Transport is hiring CDL-A flatbed drivers for regional routes with home weekends. Drive-equipped trucks carry glass, steel, and building materials, with a focus on safety and efficiency across the western region.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• A safe driving record on the road is required
• No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
• 4+ months of driving experience required
• 1 year truck driving experience preferred
• Background Check required
• Clean Drug Test required
• Clean Clearinghouse result required
• Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tests during orientation)

Responsibilities

• Transport goods on flatbed routes including materials like glass, steel, aluminum, and machinery
• Tarp loads and perform related pay and tarp handling duties on about 70% of loads
• Maintain safety and on-time delivery while following company policies
• Participate in orientation and transition pay program for onboarding
