Job summary

System Transport Bakersfield, CA is seeking CDL-A regional flatbed drivers for a high-paying, regional role with weekends off in some schedules. You will transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals across the western region.

The role offers a strong pay package ($1,018.63 – $2,152.27 per week) and comprehensive benefits, with transition and orientation pay, health/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) and employer matching, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Safe driving record required.
• No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years.
• 6+ months of driving experience required.
• Background Check required.
• Clean Drug Test required.
• Clean Clearinghouse result required.
• Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Operate flatbed equipment on regional routes.
• Transport materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, and building materials.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance while driving.
• Adhere to schedules and home-time expectations for Division 290.
• Complete required pay documentation and participate in ongoing training.
