Job summary

System Transport is actively seeking experienced CDL-A flatbed drivers for regional and OTR routes based in Portland, OR. This position offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package, with most weekends off for a 34-hour reset.

You will haul glass, steel, aluminum and other building materials across the western region, with competitive pay and growth opportunities. Applicants must have a valid CDL-A, a safe driving record, and meet standard hiring requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• A safe driving record is required
• No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
• 6+ months of driving experience required
• Background Check required
• Clean Drug Test required
• Clean Clearinghouse result required
• Driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation

Responsibilities

• Transport goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils and specialty metals.
• Operate as a regional flatbed driver with most weekends off; home time off most weekends for a 34-hour reset.
