Descripción del empleo

As Infinity Home Services' Regional Finance Manager for the Northwest Region, you will serve as the primary financial business partner to regional and local brand leadership while providing functional oversight of regional finance and accounting activities. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance, supporting operational decision-making, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of regional financial results.

This position combines strong financial accounting expertise with financial planning and analysis, operational performance management, and strategic business partnership. You will work closely with the Northwest Regional Vice President and local Brand Leadership to translate financial data into actionable insights, identify opportunities to improve profitability, and drive accountability for financial results.

The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, sound business judgment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Success requires the ability to move beyond reporting historical results to understanding underlying business drivers, challenging assumptions, influencing operational decisions, and helping leadership teams deliver sustainable financial improvements.

Key Responsibilities
Regional Financial Leadership & Business Partnership
  • Serve as the primary financial business partner to the Northwest Regional Vice President and local Brand Leadership, providing financial guidance, analytical support, and actionable recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Partner with regional and brand leadership to establish financial performance objectives, identify opportunities to improve profitability, and drive accountability for achieving regional and brand-level financial targets.
  • Lead monthly financial performance reviews with regional and brand leadership, identifying key performance trends, risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
  • Establish strong working relationships with local leadership teams, participating in strategic business discussions and serving as a trusted financial advisor and constructive challenger to operational leadership.
  • Provide functional leadership, guidance, and oversight to local finance and accounting teams across the Northwest Region, fostering accountability, professional development, and alignment with regional and corporate financial objectives.
  • Support the transition of newly acquired businesses into the Northwest regional finance structure, ensuring continuity of financial reporting, performance management, and financial controls.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Accounting, Shared Services, and other functional teams to implement company-wide initiatives, improve financial processes, and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Oversee the regional monthly financial close process, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting in coordination with Corporate Accounting, Shared Services, and local finance teams, in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.
  • Review brand-level financial statements, account reconciliations, and significant accounting estimates to ensure financial integrity and appropriate controls.
  • Monitor day-to-day accounting activities across the region, ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing, resolution of accounting issues, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize financial processes, strengthen internal controls, and improve reporting efficiency across regional operations.
  • Lead the development and ongoing management of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and financial performance targets for Northwest brands and locations.
  • Partner with operational leadership to develop accurate, driver-based forecasts that incorporate local market conditions, seasonal trends, business initiatives, and emerging risks and opportunities.
  • Analyze monthly financial results and prepare management discussion and analysis (MD&A), including explanations of significant variances to budget, forecast, and prior year.
  • Monitor key financial and operational performance indicators, including revenue, gross profit, labor productivity, overhead expenses, and EBITDA margins.
  • Perform financial analysis to evaluate operational investments, pricing decisions, growth opportunities, and initiatives designed to improve profitability.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and analytical tools that provide timely visibility into performance across Northwest brands and locations.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting, finance, or financial planning and analysis experience, including meaningful experience supporting operational business leaders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret financial and operational data, identify underlying business drivers, and translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships with operational leaders and influence business decisions without direct authority.
  • Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and EBITDA performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial audiences.
  • Self-directed and comfortable operating independently across geographically dispersed locations while maintaining strong alignment with corporate leadership.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial reporting and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to support Northwest regional operations.
