Job summary

ARAMARK is seeking a Finance Director II to guide and supervise the strategic financial direction across lines of business. You will partner with Finance and Operations leadership on planning, forecasting, and performance analysis.

This is a remote role, preferably living in the Northeast, with a salary range of $150k to $165k. A seasoned finance executive will lead the team, optimize processes, and deliver actionable insights for senior management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience
• Director level experience in finance or accounting
• Experience leading and developing staff
• Bachelor's degree as required (Accounting/Finance)
• CPA or MBA strongly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills; sound judgement
• Ability to influence others without formal authority
• Proven excellence in written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly reports and Operating Review documents
• Support strategic planning processes
• Coordinate annual plan with client-specific targets and meetings with regional VPs
• Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results against plan and benchmarks
• Prepare and review monthly/quarterly financial projections
• Prepare quarterly reports and coordinate Operating Review
• Present periodic performance and financial reports to senior management
• Review financials of sales, marketing and internal initiatives
• Develop financial models to assess feasibility of projects/investments
• Direct ad hoc analyses as needed
• Liaise with Corporate and Regional Finance to monitor performance
• Share standard methodologies across regions
• Lead a team of analysts

Job Description

The Finance Director II will partner with Finance and Operation leadership to guide and supervise the strategic financial direction of the lines of business. Primarily responsible for financial planning, annual forecasts, monthly and quarterly projections and historical financial analysis of operation results and internal benchmarks and metrics.

This is a remote role, preferably living in the Northeast. Salary Range: $150k to $165k

Job Responsibilities

• Preparation of quarterly reports and Operating Review documents
• Supports and assists in the strategic planning process
• Coordinates and prepares the annual plan, which includes setting client-specific targets and meeting with regional and department Vice Presidents to establish goals and targets
• Analyzes and compares monthly and quarterly financial results, metrics and key performance indicators against plan and other internal benchmarks, including guarantees, food, labor, working capital and cash flow analysis
• Prepares and reviews monthly and quarterly financial projections
• Prepares quarterly reports including the preparation and coordination of the quarterly Operating Review
• Prepares and presents periodic performance and financial reports to senior management
• Reviews and analyzes, from a financial perspective, sales and marketing and other internal company initiatives
• Develops financial models to determine the economic feasibility of proposed projects or investments
• Directs the preparation of special purpose or ad hoc analysis as the need arises
• Liaison Corporate and Regional Finance teams to monitor and analyze business performance
• Identifies and promotes the sharing of standard methodologies across regions
• Leads a team of analysts

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience is required
• Requires demonstrated experience at the Director level in a finance or accounting capacity
• Prior experience leading and developing a staff
• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting/finance
• CPA or MBA strongly preferred
• Requires excellent interpersonal and communications skills, sound judgement and ability to learn quickly while working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Ability to effectively use deliberate influence strategies to impact, shape, or re-direct the behaviours of others, without formal authority
• Proven excellence in written and verbal communication skills
