Job summary

Skilled Healthcare of Albany is seeking an experienced Regional Finance Coordinator to oversee the financial operations of multiple skilled nursing facilities throughout Upstate New York.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and an effective leader with the ability to work closely with facility leadership to drive strong financial and operational performance. Travel across Upstate NY is required.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing financial performance across multiple healthcare facilities.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and SNF reimbursement models.
• Comfortable working with executive and facility leadership teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout Upstate NY.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Oversee financial performance for a portfolio of skilled nursing facilities within the region.
• Partner with Administrators, DONs, and facility leadership to improve financial and operational outcomes.
• Monitor revenue cycle performance, including billing, collections, and reimbursement processes.
• Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and internal controls.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and develop appropriate action plans.
• Provide coaching and financial education to Business Office Managers and facility leadership.
