Job summary

Pomeroy is seeking a part-time Regional Service Technician to cover on-site and field service tasks across multiple locations. You will manage service calls, update tickets daily, and maintain inventory while delivering exceptional customer service.

Ideal candidates have POS, network, or PC repair experience, a clean driving record, and strong troubleshooting skills to support hardware/software in retail or office environments. Travel is substantial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• AS/BS in related technical field highly desired but not required.
• Industry Certifications such as A+, Net+, Server+ or similar highly desired.
• Minimum 1 year POS repair, network equipment repair and PC repair experience highly desired.
• Minimum 1 year break-fix or network experience in retail/office setting preferred.
• Must maintain a clean MVR and driving habits.
• Strong troubleshooting ability to support hardware/software in retail/office environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; accurate call notes, billing, and parts orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned service zone and assist in other zones to meet SLA.
• Maintain company vehicle or ensure vehicle records if using personal vehicle.
• Operate with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
• Utilize web-based ticketing system to update calls and notes daily.
• Handle inventory movements and parts returns with accurate records.
• Willingness to travel 75-100% as needed for field service.
