Job summary

ARCXIS is seeking an Area Manager to lead planning, recruitment, onboarding, administration, and QA for Field Operations, ensuring high-quality inspection delivery to builders. You will align with corporate policies, analyze QA metrics, and drive performance to meet financial targets.

The role requires supervising 6-12 field inspectors, coordinating schedules, and maintaining strong relationships with builders and trades while traveling within regional jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent preferred, or AA with 5+ years of management experience.
• Knowledge of construction practices and energy efficiency code requirements in new construction.
• 5+ years’ experience as Construction Superintendent or Field Supervisor.
• Professional license: IRC, Contractor, Certified Trade, or Building energy efficiency certifications.
• Current and valid driver’s license and vehicle registration.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily field inspection services.
• Lead communication with field staff, scheduling, builders, and trade partners.
• Oversee and support regional contracts and ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate with builders, city inspectors, and trades on job sites.
• Maintain positive relationships with builders and trade clients.
• Supervise daily work and assist scheduling of tasks.
• Monitor expenses to meet or exceed financial targets.
• Manage regional COS and reporting.
• Review field metrics and audit activities for compliance.
• Maintain professional image and brand standards.
• Manage staff time off, timecards, overtime approvals, and reporting.
• Provide training and maintain staff certification records.
• Make quick, authoritative decisions based on knowledge.
• Supervise interviews, hiring, training, and disciplinary actions.
• Present clear verbal and written communications.
• Deliver world-class customer service to internal and external clients.
• Drive accountability for exceptional customer experience.
• Analyze sales/service performance and implement improvement plans.
• Collaborate to assess regional strengths and threats to quality services.
