Stand Together, in collaboration with Americans for Prosperity Texas, seeks a Regional Field Manager to identify and mobilize grassroots leaders across Texas. Based in the Western Houston/Katy region, you will recruit volunteers, organize events, and drive policy reform aligned with AFP/Stand Together principles.

You will train leaders, manage canvassing teams, travel as needed, and collaborate with AFP staff to sustain activist engagement and build impactful campaigns across the state.

As a Regional Field Manager (internally referred to as Grassroots Engagement Director) on our Americans for Prosperity‑Texas team you will identify, recruit, and engage grassroots leaders in Texas, mobilize them to take action, and drive policy reform that opens opportunities for all.

This role will be based in the Western Houston/Katy region.

How You Will Contribute

• Identify activists in various parts of the state who are currently - or could become - leaders in their local communities as elected officials or citizen organizers and motivate them to advocate for change
• Equip these local leaders to advocate for changes that are consistent with principles AFP believes in. You will do this, in part, by connecting them to the training and other resources of AFP
• Organize events where you and other activists can engage the public through phone calls, social media, walking through neighborhoods to talk with people face-to-face. You’ll also be free to innovate by creating fun or unique ways to reach people to educate them on public policy issues and initiatives
• Ensure that AFP stays in regular contact with our activists to keep them motivated, educated, and active
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors including but not limited to time management, compliance with laws and regulations, and best practices

• Works well with a team of people, including AFP staff and activists you engage
• Excitement to canvass neighborhoods and make phone calls for AFP priority initiatives and AFP action endorsed candidates, as well as motivate and coordinate volunteers to do the same
• A valid driver’s license to be able to travel as needed to meet with people in your area and across the state, as needed
• Willingness to work a flexible and changing work schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together’s vision and principled approach to solving problems, and a commitment to stewarding our culture,which champions values including transformation and innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect

$50,000 - $65,000 a year

For this role, the anticipated base salary range is $50,000–$65,000 per year. This role may also be eligible for additional bonus compensation designed to align total compensation with an employee’s overall contribution to the organization. Our Principles-Based Management™ (PBM) compensation philosophy is grounded in an individualized approach that rewards the long-term value each person creates for the organization. Compensation decisions are informed by a variety of factors, including relevant experience, capabilities, demonstrated skills, role responsibilities, and expected contribution. Consistent with this approach, base salary may vary within or outside of the anticipated range based on these considerations.
