Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a regional facility maintenance leader to manage Facility Advisors and Facility Maintenance Technicians, ensuring in-house work and improvements across our facilities.

You will drive cost reductions, develop cost-effective scopes, and deliver performance insights to leadership. The role requires strong project management, collaboration, and communication; travel to multiple locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience plus five years facility/project management.
• Knowledge of LTL trucking facilities preferred.
• Thorough understanding of project management principles/techniques.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrative leadership and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to interpret AutoCAD and other drawing mediums preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a staff of Facility Advisors and Facility Maintenance Technicians.
• Monitor workload regionally to ensure timely completion of work orders with in-house execution.
• Drive reductions in vendor spend by identifying opportunities for internal execution.
• Develop cost-effective scopes of work aligned with strategic goals.
• Analyze regional repair cost, technician productivity, and vendor usage trends.
• Provide performance reporting and insights to leadership (utilization, spend, service levels).
• Comply with laws/regulations and company policies.
