Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. seeks a Regional Facility Maintenance Leader to manage Facility Advisors and Technicians across the region, driving efficient in-house work, cost savings, and asset performance improvements.

You will oversee workload, analyze costs, and report performance to leadership while ensuring compliance with policies and laws. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus five years in facility or project management, with strong leadership, communication, and MS Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience plus five (5) years facility, project management, or related discipline.
• Knowledge of LTL trucking facilities, preferred.
• Thorough understanding of project management principles/techniques.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrative leadership and conflict resolution skills.
• Problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to interpret AutoCAD and other drawing mediums preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and motivational skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a staff of Facility Advisors and Facility Maintenance Technicians.
• Monitor workload to ensure timely completion of work orders and prioritize in-house execution.
• Drive reductions in vendor spend by promoting internal execution and measuring cost avoidance.
• Develop cost-effective scopes of work and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Analyze regional repair costs, technician productivity, and vendor usage trends to identify opportunities.
• Provide performance insights to leadership on technician utilization and service levels.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
