Job summary

The Area Maintenance Manager (Individual Contributor) at Agemark Maintenance provides regional, hands-on maintenance leadership and technical support across multiple communities within an assigned area, acting as subject matter expert for facilities, preventive maintenance programs, life safety systems, and complex maintenance needs.

Qualifications

Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety systems, and general building maintenance.
Ability to travel between communities; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Provide regional hands-on maintenance leadership and technical support across multiple communities.
Serve as regional technical resource for Environmental Services teams and on-site troubleshooting for high-priority issues.
Guide best-practice maintenance processes, PM schedules, and documentation without formal supervisory authority.
Assist with staffing gaps, emergencies, and high-volume maintenance periods across communities.
Support compliance with state, local, and federal life safety and building standards.
