Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Area Experience Leader to oversee 4-6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience and strong operational execution across locations.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, drive performance, and align staffing and facilities to prepare offices for seasonal demand. This role requires hands-on leadership and travel between offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years work experience leading teams in a multi-unit environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset delivering consultative experiences.
• Ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience managing day-to-day operations across multiple locations.
• Willingness to travel frequently between offices.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead staff by setting clear expectations and coaching for performance.
• Monitor performance metrics and improve business results.
• Ensure timely operations including staffing, scheduling, compliance.
